Ability Assist provides services of the highest possible quality that incorporates high professional and ethical standards. Our service aims to increase the independence, skills and quality of life for people who have support needs including people with a disability.

Additionally through Ability Training, we will increase the ability of our staff, other service providers and carers to meet the needs of people who require support.

  • A range of projects and activities designed to assist people to develop independence, to learn more skills and to improve their quality of life
  • Transport to and from the programs
  • 46 weeks of the year plus a holiday program
  • Small groups with the guidance and support of 1 or 2 staff or additional staffing depending on support needs
  • Assists people with high support needs

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides people with disability with support they need to live a full and independent life.

The NDIS is rolling out throughout Victoria in stages. We provide support and services for people funded by the NDIS .

The Department of Health and Human Services

Ability Assist is supported by the Victoria Government and works in a collaborative partnership with DHHS through a Funding and Service Agreement.

Ability Assist is accredited through the DHS Standards and we are continuously working to increase the quality of our service provision.
